Time for a New Post! A New LEGO WATCH

Hello today I am bringing you a post about my new Lego Starwars Clone Wars Watch. I have been really busy settling into my new school. I have met some really good people at my new school and I just got this watch.
My friend Honbete, got a LEGO HERO FACTORY WATCH first and I did not know my mom had bought me a Clone Wars watch and was saving it as a back to school surprise.
What I like about the watch is it is plastic like real Lego bricks and you can put Lego on it.
It also came with a cool mini figure of Count Dukoo (sorry I am not sure how to spell it)
I did fall at school playing soccer and broke the winding part of my watch. So I am not sure how well made the watches are but I still have the mini figure and we are trying to find a way to fix the watch.
My mom said she got the watch at Wal-Mart for only $9.99 this would make a great gift for anyone who likes LEGO!

MY NEW HERO FACTORY TOY DRILLDOZER FROM UNCLE DUNCAN

Yesterday my dad's friend Uncle Duncan bought me this this great hero factory figure called Drilldozer.
Drilldozer doesn't have any hands because he has a drill and a claw instead. He is a villain, 2nd in command of the fire lord's team in  Hero Facotry.  He has two different looks and is able to drain power from fuel cells just by touching it in the movie Hero Factory 2.0
On the back of the box there was a cool fight scene with Nex 2.0 so I recreated it for this photo.
I liked this gift from my Uncle Duncan and will have fun playing with it and setting up cool scenes.

Lego Crayons by Nicholas are now avalible for sale in my moms Etsy Shop!

Today I started to make and sell my own Lego Crayons! I am selling them to raise money for my own Lego Brick collection. My mom bought the molds and I make the crayons by peeling crayons and baking them.
It is hard work peeling the crayons but it is fun to make them and I think it will be fun to sell them. I hope to buy the new Lego Mini figures and Alien Conquest from Lego with the money I make from selling these crayons.
Here is the link to my mom' s Etsy shop http://www.etsy.com/listing/79374618/upcycled-lego-crayon-by-nicholas

I am selling three Lego Men Crayons and Three Lego Crayon Bricks for $3 plus shipping.  Oh and you get to tell me what colors you would like to have, I make them to order! If you need more then I have listed we can give you a special price for a larger amount of crayons.
If you would like to order some they are great for everyday use and would make great gifts for birthdays or holidays. I also think they would make really neat loot-bag or treat-bag gifts!

I will be back again soon with more Lego ideas and posts soon.~Nicholas

You can make some great LEGO creations from directions on line!

When we were in California it was So hot! It was more then 45 degrees (in the100's) so we spent allot of time during the day indoors, my mom brought a container of Lego with us on our trip and one day when we were indoors we all were building our own Lego. My mom made this duck in the photo above from directions she found on line.
Following the instructions my mom made this cool duck. You can find directions on how to make your own duck and many other Lego Creations at http://creative.lego.com/en-us/FamilyTime/buildinginstructionssecret/BuildingInstructionsBoxSecret.aspx?domainredir=www.legofamilytime.com

Playing Lego as a family was so much fun. later that night my Aunty Janeen built a large truck , I was building a sling shot of Lego, it sort of worked.
Check out the directions on making some really fun Lego creations like my mom did or you can just use your imagination like I do. ~by Nicholas

More Lego Adventures with Nicholas...

On vacation my mom picked up this movie from Best Buy for only $6.99. This movie is about a Lego Figure called Clutch Powers and a Jail brake on a prison planet. The three villains escape, and its up to Clutch to save the day.
I really liked this movie especially because we spent 14 hours a day driving to and from California, and I got to watch this one on the way home.
When I got home I wanted to use my movie as an inspiration to make my own Lego city, here is what I made.
I started with standard Lego bricks that I already had and I made a bank building first.
Then it started to evolve from there, I made more parts of the city, including cars and parking spaces. I used all my mini figures as characters for my city.

This picture shows the park I made .
The weather was really nice so I built my Lego city outside.
If you see this DVD in the store and you like Lego you should pick up this DVD and make your own Lego city .

Legoland from a mom's perspective

Hi I am Nicholas' mom Karen and this is a photo of my younger sons Alex and Oliver and I on one of the fun "rides" at Legoland, in California.

We took our three boys to Legoland this summer and I am so glad we did. I wanted to share some of the park highlights and services available to families, especially families who have children or family members with special needs. Nicholas' brothers have Autism.  For a family with children with special needs going to new places and busy places like Legoland can be very difficult. Legoland really makes it easy for families of children with special needs to enjoy the park together as a family. For our younger sons, waiting in long lines is very difficult, noises, smells and crowds can be very challenging for them, so we were thrilled to find out that there is a special access pass for families with children who require assistance. This pass made it easier for us to enjoy the park because we were able to go in the Exit of each ride we wanted to go on and be given an exact time to come back. This made it so that if we had to wait a long time we could go find somewhere quiet to sit and wait instead of standing in lines. Sometimes we were able to ride almost right away.
The staff at the rides and the park were fantastic. Each of them  making a point of talking to our kids and offering assistance on and off rides. There is no additional fee for this pass, just check in with customer service when you arrive.

The park also has re-useable  family lockers and a service where if you buy something while in the park you can pick it up on your way out of the park, not having to carry it with you all day.  One of the highlights of our second day was trading the mini figures with the staff in the park, it was so much fun, for under $3 we were able to trade all day with the staff who all have name tags made out of Lego and  if they have a mini figure on them you can trade them for what you have, Nicholas traded several times and it was allot of fun. There is lots to see at Legoland so I recommend comfortable shoes, sunscreen and the lockers so you do not have to carry large bags with you all day. You can rent strollers for the younger ones, and there are lots of places to stop and sit. Oh and they have these amazing APPLE FRENCH FRIES with Whipped cream I totally recommend trying!

I recommend if you are going to buy your drinks at the park purchase the kind you can refill for a small amount of money. Also the lunches in the restaurants for the boys came with raisins and you can upsize your kids pack to get the refillable cup.Which makes a great take home souvenir.  The water park had lots of long lines for the slides which were worth the wait, however if we were to do the water park again  I would recommend renting a cabana and having a comfortable place to sit and relax.

There was so much to see and do and I loved that all the boys had a great time, regardless of their ages and abilities.
Well we will be back with more Lego posts soon! ~by Karen Owen

2nd Day at Legoland! A surprise from my mom and dad!

My mom and dad took us back to Legoland for the 2nd time on our trip. I was so surprised! We got to ride the rides again and I got to go on some I had missed.

One of the best parts of our second day was I got to trade the mini figures with the park staff. My mom gave me one when we got there, when I opened it , it was the werewolf, I traded it first for the Viking, then a ninja, then a hockey player and finally and artist!
Then my mom bought another mystery pack and it was a Sailor.

I got to go to the big shop again with my family and we got another small Legoland treat. I got another Hero Factory 3.0 Stringer!  I had so much fun at Legoland for the second time! We did not do the water park this time but it was so much fun!

I can not wait for the new ling of Mini figures due out this August!
That's all for now!

Greetings from Legoland!

We just came back from a day at Legoland in California. It was so much fun. My favorite part was ALL OF IT! They had the a mini land that had a Starwars section that was so cool and they had cities and towns made all out of Lego blocks! They also had really cool rides and awesome Mini-Figures that were bigger then regular people.
Lego land also had a water park that looks like it was made out of real Lego. My favorite part of the water park was the water cannons in the far end of the park.
My brother Oliver's favorite part of the water park was the waterslides! They even had a pool and play area for my little brother Alex who is 3.
They had some really cool old Lego, and stuff from when Lego made toys out of wood in the restaurant.
The shopping was the best! I got  a Hero Factory helmet and new Nex 3.0 figure from my Aunt in the Lego Big shop.

You can even trade the mini figures with the park staff but we did not do that. It looked like lots of fun though.
I think anyone who likes Lego and water parks would really like Legoland! My mom bought some cool post cards for my friends too, she mailed them today.

A review of the Lego Board Game Magikus

Today I got the Lego game called Magikus. I got it from my Mom. I played the game with my brother Oliver, my Mom and my Aunty Maggie. Today was the first day of summer vacation and it was raining so my mom bought it at Toys R US and thought it would be a great rainy day game to play.
When I  opened the box I had to make the game board. It was easy to build. There were not too many pieces. It only took a few minutes to build.  It is a 2-4 player game. I played the game with my mom, brother and Aunt. The point of the game is to collect all the magical ingredients  in order to cast the spell and win the game. My brother Oliver went first because the rules say that the youngest goes first.  First thing each player has to do is move the owl, then roll the dice. When you roll the dice you take the item from the game board shelf that matches the color from the dice, in the row that the owl is on.
I won the game by getting all the ingredients first.
When the game was over  I asked everyone what they liked about the game. My brother Oliver liked the owl piece best. My Aunty Maggie liked the part where if you roll on black you get to steal someones ingredients and Aunty Maggie stole my mother's game piece. My mother's favorite part of the game is that the game cost under $20 and the game took less then 20 minutes to play.  I liked building the game board best.

I am looking forward to playing the game again and changing the rules to make the game more challenging like the guide book included suggests.

Meet Meltdown and Striggner my Lego Hero Factory Figures

Yesterday my grandparents called me over to their house to give me a present. It was the last day of school and I was given the Hero Factory Toy called MELTDOWN.
Meltdown is so cool he has only one eye and a mouth with sharp looking teeth. Meltdowns weapons are a poisoned whip  and a cannon.

To load both weapons in the movie Lego Hero Factory  he uses gastronomic pressure to power his weapons.

This is a photo of Meltdown put together.

His arch enemy is Stringer. Stringer has a cannon that produces yellow sound waves in the movie.
What I like best about Stringer besides the fact he is my favorite colors is how cool he looks both in the movie and as a figure.  Meltdown is awesome because he is a great villain from the series.
Meltdown took me just under 5 minutes to put together and makes a great gift! Check out Lego Hero Factory toys and moives at your store or on line at Lego Hero Factory Toys from Indigo or at Toys R US
I look forward to sharing more Lego posts with you soon,
